Mod
Hi all, I´m a little bit afraid to download and install the whole, because I made bad expierences with other mods, some of them destroyed some of my own maps - but i´d like to have the NPC packs. Is it possible to download the NPCs alone? In a .nob file?

Re: Mod
There are several NPC packs available for download in the VTM section of the Vault. If you want all the NPCs in the S.I.X. you will have to download the mod and extract them yourself. I doubt the S.I.X. mod would overwrite any of your data or maps. It starts and runs from it’s own folder. The only part of the game it replaces in the original game is some of the strings. If you are nervous, you could back up your files, install the S.I.X. mod, extract the characters you want, delete the S.I.X. mod and replace you backup files. I know you are working on a city project and have been looking for NPCs I am willing to exchange files with you. Maybe trade your map, level and scenes for my NPCs? I could then, perhaps, add your maps to my mod and you could add my NPCs to your map.

Re: Mod
Ok, I downloaded the whole Mod now, copied it into my Vampire folder and unzipped it there. I startet the mod, and everything crashes, again and again
Unfortunally Vampire now crashes even while starting in the usual way, so I´m afraid, that I have to reinstall the whole game again ( like always, when I try to install a Mod )

Re: Mod
Have you tried clearing out your crypt folder? If the game loads and can't find items in a characters inventory, it will crash.

Re: Mod
Are you starting the game with the included link in the Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption\SixMod\SixMod Extras folder?

Re: Mod
The only other thing I can think is that perhaps you have a different version (My group uses version 1.1) or you are using the unofficial patch. Aside from that it looks like you are out of luck. It is strange that you can’t use ANY mods.

Re: Mod
I use 1.1 as well, and no inofficial patches, because I was always afraid, that they would destroy the game.

Re: Mod
This is bizarre. You really crash no matter what mod you run? What mods have you tried? Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing the game and running the mods with a newly installed copy? You must have something basic that conflicts with each mod. Something like a random template in your misc/templates folder or perhaps a class file in codex.
