15" OLED on sale in Korea in November
Too bad it's not a PC monitor and 17" inches I would give it a shot otherwise not like I can afford it though.
I have yet to see a OLED in person so I don't know what would happen to my nervous system.

I'd rather have a Kindle simulation with zero backlights - I thought that Apple post you had linked, established that LEDs are also the pits!?

Supposedly these ultra thin organic LEDs are not bright =) One of the creators of the tech said on you tube they are not like regular LEDS like in car headlights =)
I only need to buy a Sony X-L1 to see if it frys my eyes or not.

Had you signed up onto that forum under the name Abecedary?
If so, more power to you.. I like that guy's post, because with me, too, ANY light dries up my eyes.
I never used to have dry eyes, and neither do my very-geriatric parents.
I'm 1/2 their age, with seemingly-permanent dry eyes. Indeed, modern LEDs are like those ancient LEAD cups (as stated on my site's header), and us "progressives" are no lesser fools than those ancients were.

Yeah my Grandfather had these really dark glasses on his eyes like coke bottle shades he wore to protect his eyes.
That LG OLED is suppose to be between 2,000-3000 dollars I would take the dumb risk but it's not big enough to use for a monitor.
