Re: To join this board..
as an afterthought to anyone who reads my post describing my dogs i have found from searching the web cane corsos with the same names as my dogs i would like to explain that i named my dogs before my new wife showed me how to use a computer as you can tell by my script i have a lot to learn!i wanted to name my female an italian name and bruna means brunette in italian my males name is aresult of my love for clint eastwood films he is definitely aloveable villain my dog that is trust me i was surprised to see that others had the creativity to come up with the same names it must be the superior intelligence of cane corso owners brilliant minds think alike lol

Re: To join this board..
Hello one and all... I'm new to the board... obviously...lol... we (husband and I and the rest of our hairballs) adopted our Cane Corso this past December... Diesel... I believe was 8 to 10 months when he came home... I was researching Cane Corso breeders ... mourning the loss of my Bosco (beautiful Boxer...best friend...personal protection...traveling companion) to cancer... Diesel was on a local rescue page... and he jumped out at me... they thought he was a 2 year old boxer... I understand the confusion... but not a boxer...and not a 2 year old... just a big baby... well a big ... skinny... jumping... barking snarling ...beautiful brindle baby...he's still big...gee what a surprise... and getting bigger... not jumping on me... pops up on his hind feet at the door to go out... but doesn't jump on me... still some food issues... eat then throw up... but not as much... ribs aren't showing any more... wear mark on his muzzle has healed... protective but not psycho... does pretty well on lead when introducing him to people... he is a pleasure to watch moving... we live on 95 acres in south eastern Wyoming.. and I have a rather large fenced yard around the house... eventually I'll take him out running off lead out of the yard... but not just yet... don't need cattle to end up in the next state... I would like to find out where he came from... when his birthday actually is... who his parents are.. some of his human history... perhaps I will... perhaps that's not possible... no way am I letting him go... not going to happen... he's a family member now... sound asleep curled up under an afgan... such a luv... does not like to be left home... wants to go in the car or truck... kennels on command... well on my command... He's working into the pack pretty well... does pretty good on long road trips too... all things considered... he and Cheyenne (senior smooth coated border collie) are my traveling companions now... ok I'm rambling... time to ramble on out the door and do my morning chores...

Re: To join this board..
Hello everyone! We are new to the board but have loved reading about everyone else's experiences. We actually found our puppy through this website on the puppy notification link and are getting our first blue corso baby girl from Di Lorencin Kennel in two weeks...yipee! Her name is "Cris" right now but we are working on new names since we cant have two Chris' in the family lol. We have a seven month old 105lb 1/2english mastiff and 1/2american bulldog boy named Ringo, who is quite the lovebug. We cant wait to add to our family. Look forward to chattin with all of ya!
