Everyone has had some great advice, but maybe you could look into getting a dog walker to come by in the middle of the day when you are gone. Getting your girl out and going for a walk might help as well. You could hire someone or maybe a friend or even a family member can do it. I am not sure where you live, but I would help you out if I could. I am a stay home mom. I also think the chewing thing is a phase and as she gets older she will grow out of it. Don't give up on her. Things will get better. Good luck.
