ears standing?
hello, i'm new here and also a new corso owner, he's four months old and had his ears done@ 13 weeks old, they were taped for i hour before they came out, complete pain in the ass the try to tape ears, especially short cuts like on these breed, so i did the insole cutout and skinbond thing for about a week and half, they stand up when alerted or on the lookout but are not standing all the time...shouldn't they be standing all the time? need to put the forms back in until they do? any tips on getting these bad boys up for good? thanks and i'll put a pic up whenever i figure out how to do it! Mooky

Re: ears standing?
Hi I have found it also has alot to do with the Pup/Dog using its muscles to hold them up. after my dogs ears heald I would Tape them and post them, but he was so anoied by it sooner or later he would get the tape off.
So after several weeks of the taping I said forget it I would rather him be happy and enjoy his puppy hood.
so for the next couple weeks his ears where looking like a wilted flower. being sad i started talking to him and rubbing his ears every day and with in a week they where standing just fine (he) will still flop one on ocasion but 90% of the time they look perfect. i dont realy feal i had any part in the outcome except for posibly helping him condition his muscles.
This may be a fluke but it did work for me
Oh and my dog has a much higher crop APB's
