BUYER BEWARE - KRISTIN SUTCH, PA

Beware of Kristin Sutch of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Currently, she is selling Cane Corso puppies that she is passing off as "rescued" dogs. She has even told responders to her ads that she is adopting these pups out for CCAA Rescue. This woman is NOT ASSOCIATED with ANY rescue group, most certainly not CCAA Rescue. The CCAA Rescue Committee HIGHLY discourages purchasing pups from this breeder.

You may see our dogs available for adoption at Petfinder link http://search.petfinder.com/shelterSearch/shelterSearch.cgi?animal=&breed=&age=&size=&specialNeeds=&declawedPets=&children=&status=&id=&internal=&contact=&name=&shelterid=NJ434&sort=&preview=1

If you are interested in purchasing a Cane Corso from a breeder please refer to the CorsoLuv Buyer 411 page http://corsoluv.com/BuyerBeware.html

McCabe's claim asserts that Sutch knowingly transferred ownership of a sick and dying puppy after becoming aware that she could not sell the dog due to a congenital defect.

(I-Newswire) - For Immediate Release:

October 26, 2007 / Lansdale, PA -- Self proclaimed dog breeder, Kristin Sutch of Plymouth Meeting, PA will appear in Montgomery County District Court #38-1-23, located in Lafayette Hill, PA on Monday, October 29, in response to a small claims suit initiated by Perkiomenville resident Carla McCabe.

McCabe's claim asserts that in July, 2007, Sutch knowingly transferred ownership of a sick and dying puppy after becoming aware that she could not sell the dog, due to a congenital defect, and did not want to incur veterinary fees to treat him.

"This has been a heartbreaking situation for me and my children" Carla McCabe said. "We immediately fell in love with Oliver and had absolutely no idea he was so deathly ill. What made it worse was that my vet was unable to obtain any information about the puppy's past medical history and we don't know if earlier treatment might have saved him."

Shortly after taking possession of the puppy, a Cane Corso Mastiff, McCabe was forced to euthanize her new pet due, in part, to a diaphragmatic hernia and complications from pneumonia. In an assortment of emails, Sutch claims to have had the young dog treated at a local veterinary clinic however calls to that facility yielded no knowledge of any doctors ever seeing the puppy.

In 2006 a number of young Cane Corso dogs, including the carcass of one dead canine, were seized from the Sutch residence by the Montgomery County SPCA. The seizure was in direct response to telephone calls from neighbors who, after observing an assortment of unattended puppies in a backyard pen, reported possible cruelty, abuse and neglect of the animals.

Sutch, who does not hold a Pennsylvania breeder or kennel license, sells her dogs by way of a variety of internet websites and newspaper ads; as many as 14 different dogs were offered for sale during the summer of 2007.
