Neo in CT Shelter

OK, so this girl is listed as a Weimaraner/AB mix... but I think that she looks like a Neo!

Named affectionately by our volunteers for her bluish-gray coat, "Misty Blue" is as beautiful inside as she is outside. If you're a fan of dogs, you'll appreciate her unique look, Weimareiner and Bulldog. As awkward as that sounds, Misty elicits an "oh she's beautiful" response from all that see her. Her body is undoubtedly Weimareiner, sleek and athletic, with a little luva-nubbin of a tail that wobbles happily from side to side. And screwed onto her narrow shoulders is a massive, handsome head with droopy, drooly cheeks. Inside, she is even more beautiful. She is responsive and attentive, and very friendly with both people and dogs. She is respectfully submissive, and will gladly show her belly to acknowledge your authority. She walks wonderfully on and off-leash, and is just an all-around delight. Given her hunting-breed influence, we suspect that she may not tolerate cats or small dogs, though we've yet to find a mean bone in her body. POA has a few strict policies that we follow: • For the protection of both the POA dog and young children, we do not place our dogs in households with children under the age of 6 or where small children (grandchildren, nieces, and nephews) are frequent visitors. • You must be a resident of Connecticut in order to adopt a dog from POA. We like to check on our dogs from time to time. • A dog should be considered a member of the family. We are very much against having dogs chained outside or isolated in any way from the family.

Re: Neo in CT Shelter

I contacted NeoRescue.net and emailed several of their local representatives. I got an email today from one of them with unfortunate news emoticon

I have tried contacting this group and they have not responded. I have been told that this person is adamant that she isn't a Neapolitan mastiff. I will try again but there really isn't anything I can do as long as this rescue group is so unwilling to accept help.
