 Cane Corso in Upstate NY- 1.5 yr, black, male in need of loving home
After returning from vacation to Upstate New York, we discovered a wonderful Cane Corso named Casper that was not being properly taken care of. He was under weight and covered in mud and fecies. We offered the owner cash to take the dog of his hands and he accepted. In exchange for the cash we received Casper and all of his veterinary papers.
After we returned to our home with Casper we discovered that he was much more intellegent that we ever expected. Casper knows his name and comes when he is called. He know sit, stay, and down. Although Casper is a very large dog, he has a sweet, lovable personality and temperament. Casper is not food or dog aggressive. He happily greets all visitors (whether human of animal)that he meets. Weighing in at 105 pounds Casper looks very intimidating but would never hurt a fly. We also found that Casper does great with children. He is very tolerant to childrens horse play. Casper in also nuetered and up-to-date on all shots.
Because we already have 2 very large dogs we are looking for very special home for Capser. We have been acting as foster parents to him, ensuring that he stays socialized and in good health. We believe that Casper would do very well in a family setting. Ideally we would like Casper to live in a home with a fenced in yard and with a family that has time to dedicate to him. We are looking for a donation to cover cost that we have incurred but this is not required.
