What do you use to kill pesky ringworm
imaverol, ask your vet, it works well. My girlfriends dad had a good idea if you have a really bad case through a pen of calves to use a knapsack and spray them from a distance, easy and very effective.

What do you use to kill pesky ringworm
We have good luck by simply cleaning up the ringworm lesions on our show heifers. Wearing gloves, we use a brush to remove the scales (this brush is used only for this purpose so we don't spread it to other animals). The lesion will be appear pink when done. Then rinse with water. We also will put the heifers on pasture so they get lots of sunlight on the lesions. We do this daily or every other day (as needed) for about a week. I've never had to do this any longer than a week, but the lesions were caught early so were not very severe.

A little late on this but what is working well for us is lamisil spray from your regular drug store. Used to use tinactin but this works much better all be it 3x the cost. Once the spots are dry and crusty ( the used motor oil & sunlight would help this) we scrape them with a curry or something till there almost bleeding like then spray that right on there. 2-3 days of treatment once a day usually has it on the mend.

At home after scrubbing the ringworm we apply cod liver oil with using a paint brush because it's tasty the animal licks it alot or her pen mates do & this seems to keep it clean & stimulate hair growth - so irritating though isn't it, reminds me when I was about 12yrs I remember qualifying a heifer for the National, so stoked about it... anyway, yes she got ringworm, mum told a "ringworm charmer". Well the message must have been misunderstodd as that animal was smothered whilst all the others (about 40) cleared up & the 2nd prize went & won the Supreme!
Needless to say we didn't do that again!!!

apple cider vineger will kill it and will be gone in about a week
