Morsan Mountain Sale
well the sale is happening right now and im surprised no one has mentioned this sale already, its quite a lineup of cattle!
has anyone gone there today?
there are some pciture on holstein world and it looks pretty impressive!
my picks would be the lillie cow, some cow the fall shows!

Was talking to somebody earlier who was over there, apparently the sale cattle look really well, I guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out how well!

I was there, don't have my catalogue with me right now, but it was a great sale. Averaged over $14,500 on 100+ lots. Serli Colorado Lillie was top seller at $170,000. Other high sellers included a really nice red Advent calf out of a September daughter of Redrose, and Calbrett Dundee Gypsy - I'll update more later once I have my price list. I only got one - Morsan Tune Louanne - a sentimental purchase as she's the daughter of my old 4-H calf.
Tomorrow is the open house at the farm.

Does anyone know how much the 2 Zandra calves made at the sale. I thin one was a dundee out of Moran Durham Zindra and the other was a Blitz.

Lot 48 - Durham x Blitz x Zandra went for $13,500. She's the one I had my eye on when I went, but too expensive
Lot 49 - Dundee x Durham x Eland x Zandra went for $7000.
