Top price of the calves was 6600gns to the Pattons for Ards Baxter Sara (Baxter x Ridgefield Sara Rampage Red VG88-2yr).
Next was 6300gns for Hilltara Atlas Maude (Atlas x Hilltara Champion Maude VG87-2yr).
Aghyaran Talent Rae (Talent x Aghyaran September Rae Red VG88-2yr) made 6000.
Glasson Gold Ghost (Goldwyn x Riverdane Silky Ghost VG88-3yr) made 5000. She was selling on choice with her full sister but he sold her too for 3500.
Gortdonel Lawn Boy Farah Red (Lawn Boy x Farah 21 VG89) - 4400
(5th dam is D-R-A August EX96)
Ards Jango Ruth (Jango x Ards Outside C Ruth 2 EX93) - 4000
Conncorr Gold Dellia (Goldwyn x Richaven Allen Dellia VG87-2yr) - 3700.
Glaslough Jasper Fran (Jasper x Glaslough Astro Finch EX90) - 3000
Newry Toystory T Barbie (Toystory x Newry Talent Barbie VG87) - 3000
Average for the calves (not including the 20,000gns 1st choice) - 3261gns.

Just home from the helping out at the Causeway Classic! Wow what an event - been there from Tues til Thurs and I have to say the whole thing in my eyes ran smoothly, lots of cows and good cows, a successful sale, lots of new faces and well done to Phillip Haffey and co for all the work put into organising it! Id be interested to hear feedback from any overseas visitors....You can leave comments on www.holsteinclubni.com :-) For now, me off to bed for fomse catchup!
