Nipponia Dispersal - July 6th?

I have seen very little advertising for the
Nipponia Dispersal scheduled for the 6th of July at the Brubacher Sale Arena.

Is this sale still booked for the 6th? Any thoughts on what is selling?

Can you explain why they had to sell them twice? Oh, and why did they sell out. Congrats on the nice buys.

Re: Nipponia Dispersal - July 6th?

Was the person who bought and could not pay the same person running around North America last year, buying expensive animals and bouncing checks? How exactly do you bid and buy an animal with the knowledge that you don't have the cash to back up the bid? Some people just make me want to shake my head.

Re: Nipponia Dispersal - July 6th?

Jeash, I've been wondering the same thing. I'm currently dealing with the same issue on a choice of a flush. Seems I'm expected to just house the animal while the person takes their time to come up with money. In the mean time I have other people interested in buying the calf. Still can't figure out why people bid if they aren't going to have the money.

Re: Nipponia Dispersal - July 6th?

The YOUNG man I am thinking about really became infamous last summer into fall writing checks his account couldn't cash. Howie, if I was you I would tell the guy he is getting a boarding bill that must be paid before picking up the heifer, or give the guy his money back minus expenses (commission, advertising, ect.) and sell the heifer to the interested parties. BTW, I see that Rochelle went 88pts the other week, how is she doing will she Madison bound?

Jeash, yes, Rochelle went 88. I've heard she really looks good, with a really good rear udder. They are planning on taking her to the Wisconsin State Show.

Yes. Nothing was wrong with J Lo. She just went 92 3rd calf. She just looked like she was a hair light in the hind left quarter when she went through the ring. She went to Clarkvalley. There really were some steals. I never dreamed of getting the Mac for so little after her full sister brought 43,000 at Arethusa last year.

There are still many stories circulating but im not sure which one is true. I know that he did have a great deal of debt to various people and stories seem to swirl around from there.

DOES any one no why the laywer was the clerk at the sale and if so why would he put his neck out if Nipponia owed every one money.I also was wondering if anybody new why the nipponia edr rd grace cow wasnt in the sale but in the catalogue, her embroys only brought little money. Didnt it sell for like 25 k last year or the year before per half to that babydoll holsteins

Perhaps we should just stick to discussing cattle rather than other people's business.
