Royal Winter Fair
Not long to go. . .yet no talk about it yet?
Will it be a repeat of Expo in terms of Frosty and Rose, or is there anything else which will creep out from under the radar?
There is always a lot of sales Fair week, but how will they all go?
ADI, Cormdale, Morsan, sale of the Stars, that's a lot of high profile lots which all have to find homes or syndicates.
Anyone garner making a prediction of the top price of the week- Silk maybe?

Re: Royal Winter Fair
I really like lot 20 in the sale. I don't have any Mac's milking but the calves look awesome that I have. She is due in with a Lavanguard heifer in March and is from the Roxy's. The Convincer Rhonda cow in the pedigree has a record over 60,000 lbs. of milk, that is my kind of cow.

I don`t think we will see a lot of changes from Madison except maye watch Blondin farm , he brings always a nice exhibit of nice young cows.
As far as the sales , It will be a buyer market. There is a lot of animals selling within 6 days apart and the Canadian $ is strong.

Re: …
Missy should be a very easy sales topper. We're leaving on Monday to start our trek from Wisconsin. How's the weather been up there?

Re: …
I agree that Missy will probably top all the sales. Talking with a few they say Missy and Lydsay could give frosty all she can handle but time will tell. I personally think it will be the same as last year, everyone will be showing for second place behind the Champion from Madison!

Re: …
I agree, unless something happens it is Frosty's to loose. She is a great cow!! i LOVE the cattle Blondin shows. He has some awesome cows with great udders. i am glad he sold Beauty because she does not fit his type pattern.
As for Missy, she will bring over 500,000 my guess but i am not as high on her as all of you. i think the Big Cheese is a better cow. She has a much better Udder both for and rear and is more balanced in her frame. She also has much more power to her front end. i know Missy is tall but pound for pound Sept. cheese is my cow.

Missy or Cheese?
Maybe none... Personally I would like to see more Front end in a 3yrs old than Missy, and Cheese is just not yet special for a Show ring. Great Cows both of them and if I have to pick one in the ring, now I pick Missy and Cheese would be my second, next year i think this could change with Cheese turning to be the 1st.
