Missy or Cheese?
Maybe none... Personally I would like to see more Front end in a 3yrs old than Missy, and Cheese is just not yet special for a Show ring. Great Cows both of them and if I have to pick one in the ring, now I pick Missy and Cheese would be my second, next year i think this could change with Cheese turning to be the 1st.

I agree!

Re: …

Yes, The Goldwyn looked Awesome. She gets better at every show. Sept. Cheese did not have enough milk but her dairyness is were you question her. Will be interesting at the Royal. Missy will be at the sale for a few days, the Goldwyn is getting better everytime Blondin shows her and you never know something may just come out and beat them all. Should a very exciting show to be at. Sounds like a lot of US cattle are coming too. should have the best of the best. Get your Popcorn and a beer and enjoy a great show.

Missy just sold for 1.2 million at Morsan to Morsan and Gert Andreasen of Denmark. I hate to be cynical about the sale but I don't feel their is any way that she actually sold for that amount. I'm getting tired of having all of the huge sale toppers with these fake numbers. We need to get some sort of transparency so we can at least see what an animals actual value is. Missy is an exceptional cow, but I just can't believe that that was a real sale price.

Re: …

These guys paying the big bucks for cattle better hope that the global price of milk rises. They depend on people "trading up" in genetics to make a profit, otherwise they are just treading water. If the price of milk stays low the little guys wont have the money to improve their genetics.

Who is this "Gert Andreasen", the same name was buyer of Missy's daughter Valleyville Dolman Missy ($ 70.000)at Sale of Stars last year, also with Morsan?

Last year, there was live video feed of the Holstein show on the Royal Winter Fair site. This year, I think they are featuring live feed of horses on Thursday afternoon, but it appears the remainder of the Holstein show on Friday will be covered. Here is the site if you want to check it out:

Holstein World has coverage, but it's not live. Here is a link to their site:

In conjunction with Missy, what are these $500000 Semex contracts, of which Missy has 6, and how are they different than normal contracts?
