I had a red Redlou out of a black Leduc then a black w/white face hereford then a VG Shiek x EX Senator. Clever or what?

Hello i'm the son of an italian breeder, in Italy we have used Mutant but I don't think that there are still calves currently.
From What you say I understand that Mutant has a NEW gene that is not the black and not the typical red. If it is in this way you konow if it is a recessive genes and if it staies in the same LOCUS for the colour?
In Italy we have a young son of storm (storm has the telstar factor) that has a daughter red at over 2 years and she hasn't Known red blood. We known only 4 generations from the mother but is really strange

I have two mutant calves on the ground. A 3 month old heifer and 1 month old bull. Both came from black grade cows that have no red influences at all. I ve got more calves coming in the next couple months and have ordered more semen.
