Lawn Boy P Red

I see in the cattle connection that there is
Lawnboy son already being sampled called Aggravation Wonder P-red. Anyone know the pedigree and who carries him? I would think Lawnboy would mate really nicely on Paradox and Marmax daughters.

what about the wild red gene he has? What will the resulting calf be like if the wild red gene is transmitted from him and a Dam that also has it and transmits it to the calf?? this is not the mutant gene but refered to a wild gene.

I had to bump this one up. Our first few are on the ground now and dang, long, stylish, tall, aggressive - I think all polled.

I know he is a decent udder bull with not much else, but by the look of these first calves, he may be better than he is on paper...granted they are out of more than decent cows.

I had to call the Holstein Association about my first Lawn Boy, it was red and polled and I wanted to get the naming protocol right. They said that they get more calls about him, then other bull, for this very reason. The lady said that people are really pleased with the calves.

Re: Lawn Boy P Red

We had our first Lawn Boy calf in February. Unfortunately a horned bull.... emoticon
But despite of this the calf was perfect! And very healthy with a great appetite! I am looking forward for more Lawn Boy calves that will be born late summer.
