Indian Acres Challenge The Pie - American Pie

I'm looking for some info on this bull, where is he, will he be exported? By whom?

I know a syndicate bought him.

Possibly one of the most exciting pedigrees in the Guernsey world by the look of it

Pie is available from:

Golden State Breeders

Tel: 209/838-2342 Fax: 209/886-5030

His registration number is USA000068016348 and NAAB code is 31GU618

There should be some Pie calves on the show circuit this fall. I have three pregnancies, but no live calves yet. There are a couple Pie calves on the National Sale. If interested, the catalog is available at: http://www.usguernsey.com/sales/national09.htm

Re: Indian Acres Challenge The Pie - American Pie

A friend of mine has a couple of red factor heifers by advent and redliner he wants to breed to this bull. He maintains the calves will be red or have a chance to be. I took the argument that they will come out black. Anyone have a clue?

I know of a Guernsey cow that was bred to Advent and produced a calf that was best described as Shorthorn Brown.

Re: …

The Grand Champion Ayrshire at the 2008 Indiana State Fair was a GuernseyXRedmarker cross. I am dead serious too the exhibitors had just bought her before the show and had to DNA test her after some supsicions arose.
