posticon cogent retinue

I'm trying to get updated infos about two young sires from england:Cogent retinue and Red Rock.
I don't know if there are already daughters in milk from these 2 sires but for sure there must be many calves on the ground.
expecially interested in rump angle and depth of body .
Thanks in advance and greetings from italy emoticon

Re: cogent retinue

Cogent Retinue has 3 classified daughters on the Holstein UK site, but no linear yet. They are scored GP80 (80 Body), G78 (80 Body) and GP80 (85 Body). If you find him using the name search on Holstein UK and click on View Progeny under his name on the 3 generation pedigree you can see a full list of his daughters and by clicking on their names you can see their pedigrees and details.

I can not find Red Rock on the the HUK site. Do you know his full name/prefix?

Before I forget, welcome to Cowtalk! emoticon

cogent retinue

Got a number of retinue here 2 milking they have good udders but i would not say that either of the milking ones are particularly deep in the body they should be classified this week. I have one Baileys Redrock due to calve in june she will be a bit stronger from waht i can see now and has alot of slope hook to pin but i dont think at the moment she will have good legs.

Re: cogent retinue

1 Retinue just calved about 10days ago here.Good body depth and width of chest and rump although tendancy for pins to be slightly high. Carries good body condition. Rear udder high and wide with teats placed centrally on the rear quarters. Fore teats show some width but may come in a touch as the udder settles.

Had 1 Red Rock very horrible legs and she is not here anymore.

Would you use more, Will? I'm interested in getting some sexed semen.

Re: cogent retinue

We have two heifers calved, nice snug udders but milk wise they are very disappointing.
