Scientific Destry RC
Hello everybody,
does anyone know if Scientific Destry semen qualifies for Europe?
He is the Goldwyn Son of Debutante Rae (I think you will know this).
His genomic proof with GTPI 2196 is very, very high for a Red Carrier and the bulls looks fantastic, too. Here is a link:

What do you think? He should be used for flushing.

His numbers looks very impressive , from a deep charismatic cow family , + 6.0 prod life , positive for DPR , maternal calving ease at 6% , high type and a decent production with high components .
Also the fact that he is a RC make him very attractive , he will have be without the RC so I will use him for flushing if I was you .

I looked at his SCR the other day and Destry is a terrible -5.5. Has anyone here had any problems with his fertility? I thought about ordering some but with summer heat coming maybe I better pass.

I had a look at our breeding records and doesnt look like this bull is too far off of anything else we've used as far as conception. I wouldnt call him either really good or bad. From my experience both as breeder and salesman I would say that the scr figures are definitely not totally accurate and young sire figures like destry are usually in the negative. ive also had proven bulls where people rave about the conception and find the bull is negative for scr???

We purchased the pick out of Joyful tonight at the Chosen Few sale in Iowa.
We're planning on flushing her to Destry - we think it'll be a great cross on her.
