Is that a good thing or a bad thing that she looks just like a Sept Strom?

What is the sire on the calf to be born?

Scientific Deuce RC

I think its a good thing. Our SS have been very decent so far. she could use a bit more depth and strength, but I think that is b/c of her pedigree - not the bull. (she is from a 88pt ex mamm Bacculum so her udder should be super)
She is due to Audacity-Red (talent from America's and Arrow's sister)
Her sister is in the top for TPI red cows, so she has decent numbers.

Re: Scientific Deuce RC

I bred a Rubens to debonair (yeah yeah, I know double roxy). But she settled on the first service. I also flushed an Elegance heifer (AdventXEncore Electra) to Debonair, and had good results. He is a VERY fertile bull, and I hope he does turn out well. Talent does throw some with good front ends, I hope Debutante fixes that front end problem.. We'll see.

Re: Scientific Deuce RC

I used small amounts of Dusk without any heifers. I flushed a Sept Storm cow to debonair twice and have the first heifers due in 2-3 months. I'm excited to see if they are R&W as they will be from the Linda's!

Re: Scientific Deuce RC

I see that Deuce has a VG88 2yr and 2 VG86 2yr old full sisters in the states. And there are 2 Deuce daughters registered with Holstein Canada.

Re: Scientific Deuce RC

Sperrin has 2 Duplex daughters from the VG88 full sister to Deuce.

Their full brother has semen available in Northern Ireland and it will soon be eligible for shipping to the rest of the UK.
