Re: …
We just cidr`d five cows this week aiming for a flush in September , and also had a bull health tested today for an on farm semen collection .
So that`s that then.
Tomorrow is Dumfries Show , Campbeltown Show and Perth Show.
The milk tanker will be in here between midnight and 2am.
Bet the driver who started his shift earlier doesn`t even know.

Campbeltown Show was on yesterday and i think in NI it is only the ports that are closed for stock coming in!

Re: Foot and mouth
Oh no not again! I really feel for you guys over there with having to deal with it again. Dave and I have just put our Overseas trip on hold now! So we will see you guys in the flesh when this all settles down again. Keep your chins up and be vigilant with your disinfection. Good Luck

Re: Foot and mouth
Report on BBC news website says 60 cows tested positive, which might suggest it's been there for a day or two before detection.

Re: Foot and mouth
My sympathy to all of you! Its unbelievable what UK farmers had to suffer in the last decade! Like Gidion I hope that this is just a minor outbreak and that you can get in under control quickly!
