Fully Certified !
Today ,31st July 2008,I have just completed an intensive 4 hour farm assurance inspection of my organic dairy unit! I am not sure whether I should be posting this in "loud and proud" or here in the "main chat". The inspector started with The National Dairy Fram Assurance Scheme then moved onto the Quality Meat Scotland (Beef and Sheep) Farm Assurance Scheme and then finished with the Scottish Organic Producers Association Organic Certification Scheme.
I am pleased that the relevant authorities have managed to combine these visits! Four hours instead of three mornings wasted and hopefully a bit cheaper .
I am pleased to record that my only non-complience was the missing plan for storage of in-conversion feeds separate from fully organic feeds.
