Re: E'tizon

I don't know what is in it, nor how it works (though i'd love to).

Therefore please don't flame me for anti-scientific quackery - this just my experience.

I bought 12 powders a year ago. I bought 12 more recently which with my current budget constraints is a ringing endorsement. Mr Hubbard was 100% on delivery etc.

I give a powder to cows that are not responding to conventional treatment and are not eating well. Generaly fresh calved.
I have seen it dramatic enough that you have to run out of the cow's way as she dashes over to the silage after drenching.

Not easy mixed but I use a wine bottle, 2 inch of vegtable oil, add powder, fill rest with warm water.

Sounds good, like a wonder drug. How much is each sachet?

£11 or £12 from memory - you don't want to spill them.

Re: E'tizon

Have been using these powders for around 15 years down in SW England. As mentioned b4, quite difficult to drench with but well worth it sometimes with outstanding results. Used mainly for retained afterbirth, mastitis, getting difficult cows in-calf, inconclusive T/B reactors, recips and even calf scours (1/3 sachet)
