Have just managed to not kill a Govt official, but this bureaucracy is getting past the crazy stage.

Having spent almost four hours filling out forms, getting them signed and stamped by our vet, then took them to the Dept for final clearance.

The whole lot has to be redone, because one part was signed in black pen. Seemingly this could be a photocopy, not an original signature. emoticon

Have they never heard of colour photocopies ?

Or is it all just part of the great conspiracy to drive us all mad ?

Oh and I do realise that they do this sort of thing to everyone, and it's not the first time they have done aggravating things to me, but it doesn't make me feel any better at the minute.

I just wanted to let off some steam, rather than thumping someone in the office.

do you think those Govt officials have some sort of twisted death wish?
perhaps they HOPE to make us snap and kill them, sort of make them martyrs, killed in the line of duty emoticon

The problem is that I have to continue getting stuff signed by this particular person, so shouting/swearing/punching them would have severe long term hassles.

This is part of their power over us all, they can get away with it, because we are dependent on them.
