Wiseman`s excuse for no february milk price increase
"The MDC data for Dec 06 showed a slight reduction in the value of cream. However, that weakening would have meant a DECREASE(!!!) in price of just 0.05ppl and so we have agreed with your representatives that the company will absorb this reduction for this quarter and therefore there will be no price change from 1st Feb 07.WE HAVE RESERVED THE RIGHT TO INCLUDE THIS SMALL ADJUSTMENT IN ANY FUTURE PRICE CHANGE THAT MAY OCCUR"

WE import milk products. We do not produce enough milk in the USA to meet the need. Go figure!

Re: Wiseman`s excuse for no february milk price increase
Interesting that MDC is suggesting that the cream market will have returned Wisemans an extra 0.4 ppl in April , thus meetimg 2/3 of the increase they have paid out from the shop rise .
So unless they award another rise in May of the order of 0.4 ppl they will have pocketed another tranche of the shop price rise.
Looks like that return to 3 p a litre profit margin that they have touted to the city is well on its way.
