Supply Management in USA
I have just returned from a fantastic World Dairy Expo where I watched an interveiw with the chief exec of Holstein USA talking about supply management,basically Quota.Over this side of the pond the EU are srapping Quotas in a couple of years.
I have been at Expo the last 2 years and the expansion that has gone on when we visited at some farms has been phenomenal.
Do cowtalkers think it would work??
After such expansion should it not be based on a previous years production as it was in the EU?
