No Foxleigh and I don't know of anyone over here who is. They are a beef animal, but I have some who would milk I am sure. Hmm you are giving me ideas..

actualy I was under the impression they were "duel purpose" in their country of origin......
Many years ago when we crossed our jerseys with a fully imported full blood swiss simmental fleckvieh who was "blond' in color the calves all came out looking like gelbvieh (direct translation "yellow cattle')But Ive never been able to lay hands on a history of gelbvieh to veryfy the genetic base

I think you are right Foxleigh. Triple purpose too, in that the steers were used as oxen back in the day. I think this helps to make them docile and easy cattle to work with, compared to say, Limousin.
