hello everyone
Hello everyone i discovered this board a week ago and foun everyones views very interesting and helpful.Well we are the Aves family from poplar grove, illinois. we have a heard of mostly red and white holsteins and also black and whites. we do alot of showing, about 13 total. Our red and whites are our passion. we have had great succes with them. but still havent got them with the blacks yet. we have quite a few things we are proud of. a cow my dad bred aves sunset kirkboy doris had 6 generations of excellent. we have also had 2 re adn white all americans. One was 2000 jr. 3 year old luck-e lou kansas. then also 2006 fall calf scenic edge joyful. who was jr. champ at empo and harrisburg.we have also had a few reserve animals. but we enjoy helping younger kids get started into showing. we enjoy how much fun they have competeing. kinda reminds you of what showing is supposed to be, alot of fun.
