Hello from Denmark
Hello cowtalkers, my name is Joost van der Horst. I'm from the Netherlands, though I've been living in Denmark since 1998. For several years I've been working as a herd manager. The past 6 years we've been using aAa in the herd I worked in. This system fascinated me so much, that I wanted to know more about it. In fact, I wanted to become an approved analyzer. Fortunately, my dream came true and since marts 2005 I've been working as an approved aAa analyzer in Danmark. Hopefully some other countries in scandinavia will follow over the next couple of years. At the moment I do not work as a herd manager any more. Besides analyzing cows, I milk cows for a couple of farmers.
I have been following cowtalk for a short while, especially the discussions about aAa. Every once in a while it could be nice to be able to reply and that's why I joint the cowtalk-club.

aAa works in the same way in all countries and for all breeds. So, if you know any farmers that might be interested in breeding more better cows, please let me know. I'll be happy to contact them.
