Hello to all Cowtalkers

Hello. My name is Phillip. After a couple of years of reading cowtalk, i have finally joined up! I am from county Antrim in Northern Ireland but I am in my first year at the University of Nottingham studying Agriculture. I am interested in ruminant nutrition and i hope to join the family animal feed business when i'm finished. My interest in pedigree holsteins comes from working with my uncle's pedigree herd, which is about 60 cows plus followers. It isn't a show herd but he does have some nice stock.
I am here to learn and will probably not have much to contribute, but if I have something to say or a question to ask, well now I'm signed up and ready to go! Regards, Phillip.

Re: …

Welcome Philip, I was actually up past your family place on Tuesday, and one of your lorries nearly took me off the road.

I won't hold it against you though.

My dad went to Nottingham in the dim and distant past, he made many friends for life.

Re: Hello to all Cowtalkers

Sorry Alan. But I can explain. Such is our enthusiasm for manufacturing and delivering high quality animal feeds with a first class service, that we let nothing stand in our way - not even reps from ai companies!!!
I do apologise.
