How did you find COWTALK?

I was bored to death of all the AI company websites, breeder websites with posed show cows etc and looking for something different when I clicked on the links section of the Holstein UK website and voila! I spent a weekend reading every thread and was hooked.

J had torn the cruciate ligament clean off the bone, tore cartlidge and displaced and chipped my left knee and thus was unemployible for over 6 months.
used to spend a lot of time on the canadian forum run by dan brady, the uk forum that was via the dairyfarmers magazine site (farmtalking? livechat)and sometimes futurelands site.I think someone from the uk put me onto cowtalk.

How did you find COWTALK?

Yep foxleigh and I came over around the same time. I followed a link on Mark's signature line on the old HolsteinOnline forum run by Dann Brady. MMT95 was another that came over around that time. I just realized that I have been posting on this board for almost six years!

Re: How did you find COWTALK?

Seems all the oldtimers have June 2003 as our starting date (see BIO´s) but it seems to me that I was around pre runboard days.

I too followed Marks link at D Bradys site.

Re: How did you find COWTALK?

I was actually searching for some info on astronomical when he was first hot. I typed his name into google, and a page discussing astronomical came up from cowtalk. I followed the chats for a few years before deciding to join.

Re: How did you find COWTALK?

Will Max and I were posting on the Members United Dairy Farmers when he told me about it.

I'd just like to say that, apart from cowtalk, I am so not into all this daft internet stuff like bebo and my space and so on...

There's an exception to every rule.
