Hello From Florida

I grew up on a dairy farm up in Québec, Canada and have been interested in Holsteins and their pedigrees for years. I have been to Roybrook Holsteins and Hanover Hill Holsteins a few times back in the days.

Do you remember Johanna Rag Apple Pabst?

My wife and I have now called Florida home for over 10 years and no I do not work in a AG related industry.

Just love Agriculture and Holsteins.

Tony

Hello From Florida

Thank you LRG.

How do you survive in 2009 milking only 25 cows. You must have a job off the farm?

From which part of Ontario are you from?

Hello From Florida

We milk 25 Holsteins. We also milk almost 50 ayrshires. I'm from Nova Scotia, not Ontario

Hello From Florida

So that explains it.

You must know Chris Studer.

Within a 40 minutes drive of where I grew up they were a few great Ayrshire herds.

How common is that Ayrshire breeders cross some of their cows with Red Holstein bulls?
