Re: Michigan Football?
Good question. I'm not surprised at the defense, but I thought the offense would be better. Obviously they aren't very good. I have a feeling Michigan may have a new coach by next year. I actually like Lloyd Carr, not so much for his coaching, but for all he does for the University. My wife is an RN at Motts Children's Hospital, which is part of U of M Hospital. Lloyd is a huge supporter of Mott. They are going to build a new hospital, and he is always doing fundraisers for them. He often has his players coming in to visit with the children as well. He really is a good guy, unfortunately he and his team aren't getting in done on the field right now. Anyone want to buy some Michigan vs. Notre Dame tickets?

Re: Michigan Football?
I'm not too confident about this game. I have a feeling this is Carr's last season, it would be nice to see them win for him. Should be a good game. I'm glad I sold my tickets though, their talking chance of rain and snow. It will be much nicer in my house watching it this year.

Re: Michigan Football?
Yes, that makes it nicer. Never have liked the 3:30 starts, unless I am going to the game, then it leaves more time for tailgating. Can't believe I sold my MICH-OSU tickets. Oh well, should still be fun to watch on TV.

Re: Michigan Football?
That was an extremely boring football game. The thing that confuses me is the lack of enthusiasm and emotion that Michigan showed. Henne was terrible, but is injured. Manningham didn't look like he was in the game at all. OSU is clearly the better team. I still wouldn't be surprised if they make it into the national championship game. How crazy would it be if they play LSU for the national championship, then Les Miles leaves LSU to come to Michigan?

Re: Michigan Football?
So, what he did in 2004 while at OK State is some how revelant to him getting the Michigan job? OK State has never been known as a power house, although he did quite well there, beating OK twice.

Ouch. Was sad to see the Big Ten go down again. I think OSU was competitive talent-wise, but just had soem bad breaks and a few knucklehead penalties. COngrats to your Woverines Howie - represented the conference well.
