Six Nations, Who will win? .... plus fantasy league

Going to be a open competition this year, I think wales could be a outside bet.

Markday, You planning a fantasy league for it this year? scrum fantasy rugbys up and running already i see, if that what you use.

UPDATE- SEE LEAGUE IN MY NEXT ENTRY.

France closely followed by England, then Scotland, Ireland and Wales fighting over 3rd, 4th and 5th, Italy probably last.

Re: Six Nations, Who will win?

OK, I set up a fantasy league on http://scrum.fantasyleague.com/Index.aspx called Cowtalk. Anyone interested please join, and you can change your team right up to first game kick off so dont worry about early entry.

All you have to do is after setting up team, click on join league and enter pin number- 1909 and that should be your fellow cowtalkers.

its only for a bit of crack so do it. the more, the better.

Re: Six Nations, Who will win?

As of now, there are just 3 teams in fantasy league so I guess it a bit like a county show bull calf class where Everyone gets prize money, even the stunted ET calf.

All teams named now, think deadline for teams Saturday morning so still time to enter but not just 100% on that.

On the six nations itself, I think France will bottle it with there kids and everyone is going to take points off eachother, it now wouldn't surprise me to see 4 teams on 6 points at the end.

Not if England continue to crash and burn in the second half of their matches like they did last night.

Whats the story with English players and injuries, now they may have an excuse when Italy beat them.

They've certainly lost 5 players from the team which started against Wales. Vickery would make it 6 if he drops out, and Flood isn't a certainty either. Vickery has an excellent replacement in Stevens, but it would mean an inexperienced man on the bench. It's not just a 15 man game any more, quality and impact from the bench is now a huge factor.

Don't know about excuses, but that injury list would hurt any 6 nations team.

Halala, not a great weekend for England, losing to Scotland rugbywise and slaughtered by New Zealand cricketwise. Spare a thought for Sidebottom who took ten wickets including a hat trick and his side still lost.
