Re: Gigging it!!!
Done the Courteeners, going to V, and looking forward to the Foos (saw them last in 99, they were brilliant), and also going to see Feeder again (who said anything about stalking?!) Radiohead is not my bag im afraid, its like Prog rock vs Jazz in my little brain

I didn't get them at first, but saw them live supporting REM and they were just stunning and I've been a fan of their music ever since. Cranberries on the same gig made for a very decent evening.

Re: Gigging it!!!
Feeder were awesome, it was a 300 people venue as they tried out new album songs plus some old greats. Felt like you were really part of it. Went to a different sort of gig on saturday, and ticked off one of the "things to do before I die", seeing a live boxing match. Talk about atmosphere, 55,000 people cheering on Ricky Hitman Hatton. Amazing

Foos were amazing, and the fact that two of Led Zeps line up were there to play two songs....genius!

Two weeks till Glastonbury and counting. Not the most impressive line up (which is probably why I managed to get a ticket) but never been and after enjoying V so much, thought it had to be done.
Can't believe how handy the multi pocketed andy pandys come in at these things!

Andy pandys at a festival?
Thats new!
Shorts, and the roughest pair of trainers you can find, throw them away when you're finished, you really don't want to know what that mud consists of! (although the smell often gives it away.....)

Gigging it!!!
The Editors and Annie Mac on the Friday were good. Kings of Leon VERY dissapointing!
Saturday amazing line up: Bowling 4 Soup, Scouting 4 Girls, The Music, The Wombats and The Hoosiers were great but The Enemy, The Zutons, Stereophonics and The Prodigy just blew my mind! One Night Only were fantastic - new fav band! The Verve were terrible.
On Sunday The Pigeon Dectectives and We Are Scientists were awesome, had 2 leave early 2 catch an early morning flight 2 England so didn't catch Rage Against The Machine.
All in all fantastic weekend however my little bro showed me up for being a lightweight compared to him living on a diet of pro plus, crepes and absinthe! Yuck no thanks

Re: Gigging it!!!
V. Bands awesome, highlights for me included Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, Alanis Morissette (what a voice), 'phonics, Chemical Brothers, Charlatans (brilliant), Hot Chip.
Organisation, crap. For the amount of money they must take off us suckers, I think they could have pulled their fingers out a bit.
Camping. Its going to take some visits with a shrink to get over that.
Mud. Some people are dirty ba$t@rds.
