Breeders in New York
Just wondered if anyone could advise on breeders within a 4 hour radius of New York.
Coming over next month and would like to try and visit some of the top herds within the area, whilst in that part of the world.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Breeders in New York
What part of NY? I might be able to help if you give me your destination.

Breeders in New York
Heading to the sale at Arethusa, and flying into JFK, would like to see some of the top herds within the surrounding area.
Any help much appreciated!

Re: Breeders in New York
Joleanna Holsteins would be another good stop. Very nice homebred herd.

Heading to the sale eh? I'll be there..
As far as herds to visit? There are some noteables within reach of the sale. They would be Cook farm, Whittier Farms, Elmvue, Joleanna, R-E-W Farm, Murranda Farms (Murrays). Then you can venture down into PA, but that gets further away from NW CT. Unfortunately Chaseholme is gone, they had a good herd. Oh and another is Gaige Farms (Home of Gaige Highlight Tamara 4E 97).
One herd locally that never gets much praise/attention, and they are mostly homebred. That would be Elm-Spring Farm, they are a few minutes from here, and have a good herd of cattle. They compete at the state level and do well..
