Re: PRAYERS PLEASE
Not long home from tonights' prayer meeting.
The family were at the hospital today for their meeting with the team. They came away slightly disappointed inthat they weren't given any clear guidance as to what might happen. One doctor wants to remove the entire lung, whereas the surgeon believes that with treatment the tumor may be reduced sufficiently to allow it to be removed on its own.
The next meeting is on the 28th May 2009, which seems like a lifetime away when every day is so precious.
Please continue to pray for an almighty outpouring of God's grace and a complete healing for Hanna in the time untill the next appointment, that when the specialists scan and assess her that the tumor may be dramatically reduced even to the point where it is non-existant, so there will be no doubt that God's hand has been at work.
We're aware of two of the nurses / medical team who are Christians. This is an answer to prayer, please pray that more of the team may be people who know and love the Lord.
Pray for strength, not only for Hanna but also for her Mum and Dad, that they would have patience and peace to wait on God's perfect timing and His wonderful plan.

PRAYERS PLEASE
Don't often check this part of cowtalk message board. But I will keep this young child in our family prayers as well. Cancer is a horrible disease but thankfully they have made huge strides in treating it the last decade. Its especially troubling when it is a young life has been diagnosed. Again our prayers are with the family for God's peace in this time of uncertainty.

Re: PRAYERS PLEASE
Sorry folks for the delay in updating this thread, but thanks for the continued prayers.
Hanna is due to go for her operation sometime today Fri 26th of June 2009. Please pray for a successful outcome from the surgery. Please pray that God will guide the hand of the surgeons as they perform the operation and that He will bless all involved in the procedure. Pray for an overwhelming sense of peace and calming reassurance, in the first instance for Hanna herself and for her Mum, Dad, Brothers, Grandparents and the entire family circle.
We, at Markethill Presbyterian, are having an hour of focused prayer from 08:30 till 09:30 this morning to surround Hanna with prayerful support, if you are able, please join in, wherever you are, even if it's just for a minute.
Please continue to pray for a mighty mraculous healing for Hanna, as this operation is only the beginning of her treatment.
