Hey Brits, how do you feel about your govt releasing the libyan.
That was an American plane and mostly Americans on that plane. As far as I am concerned your government just gave the American people the middle finger. The scottish judge, Gordon Brown and the rest of the powers that allowed this can go pound sand.

Disgraceful. There were plenty of innocent non Americans on the ground killed as well. All those families torn apart and the ******* responsible gets out because of illness.

Re: Hey Brits, how do you feel about your govt releasing the libyan.
His release is disgusting, only surpassed in disgust by the 'heros' welcome he recieved in Libyia. I have my own personal thoughts on the Libyians after 30 odd years of bloodshed in our wee country, but this just takes the biscuit.
As Christians we are tought to forgive and forget, but sometimes that is just a wee bit difficult. Take comfort in these words;
Romans 12:19-21
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Amen

Re: Hey Brits, how do you feel about your govt releasing the libyan.
Just to clarify, the decision to release Al Megrahi was taken by the Scottish Government not the British Government, although one can only speculate as to what discussions went on behind the scenes and the British Government is probably complissit in this.
We have a crazy situation in Great Britain where Scotland and Wales have their own government and England does not, just the British Government run by a particulary inept Scotsman.
I`m sure the vast majority of Britons, including myself, are aghast at this ridiculous decision to release this mass murderer.
Another sign of weakness as seen by the rest of the world, which will have many repercussions.

Re: Hey Brits, how do you feel about your govt releasing the libyan.
Just to further clarify , The decision was taken by an individual from within the Scottish parliment and in no way reflects the feelings and mood of the Scottish public on this matter.. I have yet to hear a voice raised in support of the decision on the streets here in Central Scotland,and await the official line taken by those in power when parliment is recalled later this week to discuss the issue...
