Re: Cricket
Yeah, SA don't seem to have tried to win the game today, more just trying to stop England scoring quickly. Almost like England were the team in a winning position.
End result has been a bit like watching paint dry. I come in for a look occasionally, but its not worth sitting and watching it all.

Re: Cricket
Strauss and Trescothick eh- how do England keep bringing out these performances just when they need them. Moneys on the draw now!

Re: Cricket
No arguement about the bad light call, but what I don't understand about it is why switch the floodlights on if they aren't allowed to influence the state of play. Would be more sense to leave them off, then the situation becomes much clearer.
I should think both teams will take positives from this. SA managed to save the game, and England came back from way down after day 2 to almost force a win.

Re: Cricket
Congratulations Smous. You scraped a draw and that certainly seems to have kick started your season!
Englands first loss for some time.

Re: Cricket
Yep, well done SA.
Could you lend us Kallis for the next week as a batting coach?
