Re: Cricket

Just watched the greates ODI of all time, in excess of 860 runs in one day. Aussies scored an incredible 434/5 in 50 overs and lost.

For South Africa Smith made 90 in 55 balls, Gibbs 175 in 111 balls. Boucher saw us through, scoring the winning runs off the second to last ball. SA win the series 3-2.
Spare a thought for Aussie Mick Lewis 111 runs scored off his ten overs.

actually yes.
Im pleased SA found some players who could bat and bowl competatively.I got a kick out of the capt telling one of his fieldsman "I want you to stand there ,RIGHT there and bang the next ball was nicked and caught.
I think some of our players have been around a bit too long and some of the younger ones should have been given a go before this.
That aside the better team deserved to win.

Cried myself to sleep last night. emoticon

Poms were outstanding, Shah and Collingwood were excellent, but Morgan blitzed us, then with the exception of Smith we batted like farts, give Anderson his due he was on song.
