Brand New Grasshill Website

Well, I just made my first website. Have a look and let me know what you think?

Dad's pretty excited -- he's got a blog to air his ideas on.

I'm hoping to add a separate section by the end of the month with pictures of the cows in the freestalls and heifers in the barnyard. We're long overdue for a visit from the cattle photographer so it is largely the "old girls" who are highlighted.

Ahh.. they're not that big, it was just milking time.

Thanks broa.

Spent the whole morning working on the Guestbook. And seriously contemplated scrapping the Guestbook instead of fixing it. I might be growing into Dad's aversion to keyboards.

Hi. Me again.

I wondered if any of you would mind commenting on Dad's blog and/or signing the guestbook before he sends it out to the politicians?

So much better to have the dairymen's opinions first, I think. It keeps the weight where it belongs.

Also, I'd like to start a new page highlighting some of the good lifetime production families out there. If anyone knows of any really sound productive families that are breeding longevity and health traits, send me a PM. I'm looking for dams and daughters with 100000 kgs +. Thanks!

The milking cows are all at Thurston's

except Derry Queen and six others (including her Goodluck daughter and Angelina) over at John Buckley's

And a handful at various other farms that needed some extra milk.
