Re: Open Day
So that's your picture on page 17 of last Saturday's Farming Life?
The name 'FiringOnAllFour' hides your true identity pretty well!
I was on your farm a few years ago. Maybe from my name you can guess why!
I'm afraid I'll not be able to attend as I'm in England but all the best anyway. It looks like it will be an interesting event.
(The hog roast sounds good too!!!)

Re: Open Day
Thanks Will. I'm awfully flattered.
The wife reckons she's safe enough.
Me, and the electronic mask, and pipes coming out of my head etc.

Re: Open Day
Broa, i'll reply as i know James is too modest to mention the larger than expected turnout, the good looking herd of cows, the well laid out housing for the robots, the quality maize silage, the plans for the future which i'll leave James to elaborate on.....however it was possibly too wet a day for the hordes of young ladies.

Re: Open Day
You're very kind Moore. The 'larger than expected turnout' was, not surprisingly, all male. Apparently, the ladies all took a wrong turn and never made it in time.
Had it been slurry-spreading weather, the turnout might have been less. I wouldn't even have been there!
Plans are for another machine. Mind you, haven't asked the bank yet.
I have to say the pig was very good.
