Re: Fieldhouse Redlou

What the tight wad means is, he only buys small quantities, and not very often. In his defence though, he does support all the units. Which sucks, cause there have been 5 different salesmen around already in the past 3 days. This is fine for me, most of my clients are likely at the Royal. Hopefully I will reap the benefits next week.

Fieldhouse Redlou

Have seen a few around here. They are STRONG like tempo x ultimate x marquis ned kind of hocks. Calving ease is apparently an issue, I helped pull one that was like pulling a saint bernard through the cat door, and a couple of others are reiterating that fact. Front end structure is much improved from talent and width of rump is really nice. Talent sons are gettin to be a hard sell around here, from the freak show redliners, to the monster calf redlous to the homely logicals. Be interesting to see which ones turn out the best.

Re: Fieldhouse Redlou

Mayjay, not to get off subject but which foundation bulls are you selling? Hopefully the pattern continues at least close to the start of it. It is interesting that F&L was the high score for both as i thought this would be the biggest problem. Triday i think the talent sons in general might have greater impact than talent. We have calves of several talent sons and really like them where talent hasnt worked so swell

He's a big boy, he can take the abuse. I've had a few supporters over the years that have jumped ship, and gone the index route. I liken index to a harlequin romance novel, it's just a fluffy read. Maybe I've made two enemies with just one post, it must be an age thing, just call me Archie.

In sports, the set up is called an assist, which is of equal value(in points) to the goal.

Fieldhouse Redlou

Hey Mayjay:

I just noticed that a friend of mine had 2nd place Int. calf at the Expo Int. Quebec Red & White Show with MOUNT ELM REDLOU KOKIMO. There now you cannot say I am only pro Semex. I still like the Mr Liberator calf we have.

Gee I wonder who the Archie is you are referring?? If it is who I think it is even you cannnot hold a candle to that.

Yu bugger, I was just going to post that. Nice to see somebody is doing their homework. I suppose if the fourth one scores 83, the word on the street will be that he crashed and burned.

I think someone needs a swift kick in the left one, and then maybe the right one, or in no particular order. Now if you have nothing nice to say, go and watch yourself some TV and let me play with my new found friends.

Haha. I noticed that actually. I checked yesterday. First three were VG, then three GP. The next three are probably going to be G. I don't like the looks of this trend. Haha

Oh well, still beating Mutant.

Mayjay, I am disappointed not to have heard your marketing spin on these three GP daughters - I thought you'd have been on here already explaining the 83 point was out of a 79 point dam, the 84 pointer's dam wasn't classified and the 81 point was only out of a 50%RHA!!! Its not like you to miss a marketing opportunity....

Re: Fieldhouse Redlou

Sorry that I've been such a lame duck lately, but I'm swamped with snow removal and tractors that refuse to start in the cold weather. Thanks to enviromental regulation the cattle are in three different groups all half a mile away from the barn.
I'm counting on you guys to keep the Redlou homefires burning until I can find the time to do the promo thing. Heck, I haven't been on the road peddling for a month, I may no longer have a job and just don't know it yet. Thats' not to say the locals can't call me, if you get my DRIFT.

G77 with 71 point F&L. If the first VG daughter made the bull, this amounts to a crash of Preludesque proportions! Mayjay ... you've some explaining to do to everyone who bred their entire herd to Redlou after your first post..... emoticon
