Re: Fieldhouse Redlou
Are you yankin my wire or what? I've never bred anything worth talking about on here, at least not until my Redlous calve out, LOL. I just peddle him and thats it. I suppose one good turn deserves another, and I'll have to say something nice about a Semex bull. OK, how is this, I absolutely Love with a capital L, Rubens, does that count?

Re: Fieldhouse Redlou
Yes, he is supposed to, unless they've been yanking my chain. Stanhope Atlantic is also to get a proof. MD Maplelawn Electricity will have to wait until January I presume, since he doesn't have daus. in milk long enough. Electricity died by the way, a twisted bowel. So even the bull guys can lose one, although it took ten years to do so.

Re: Fieldhouse Redlou
We are pretty happy with both Redlou and Atlantics proofs. Last week I attended the annual sales meetings, in conjunction with their tenth anniversary and open house of the two new bull barns. Quite an undertaking, while there is a recession going on. Though the boss made a statement, " when everybody else runs, you walk, and when everybody else walks, you run." I always come away from these meetings with a sense of pride and greater knowledge, it's too bad I'm not a better sponge, because within days I'm the same dummy I was before I went.
On a side note concerning Redlous calving ease, earlier comments of needing a 4X4 to pull the calves, I think your average ten year old with a baler twine can handle the job.
