Re: Classification results
well you need to remeber that what my husband considers to be not breed onible had angus calves. These heifers are from cows who mostly were GP first class themselves or VG.
All the dams were mated to correct faults even tho most of the bulls are progeny test or have limited daus. Most bulls have generations of EX dams.
Classifiers here are supposed to be even so doesnt matter who you get.
The senior classifier was really hard on feet and legs.
One of the younger ones admitted he had trouble classifying rear udders on very stale heifers.
Overall the senior classifier commented on what a good even line heifers we had and we should be pleased.
The budjon bulls were a disappointment and I thought the heifers were all lucky to score as well as they did.

Re: Classification results
We classifed on March 13th. Here are the highlights. We had a Durham 5 yr old score EX 94, two other Durhams score EX 93 (both are scored 95 MS). A daughter of Pinehurst Starz also score EX 94. Two other Durhams scored EX 92, one is Long-Haven Durham Randi, she scored 92 in her 2nd lactation and is an 11th generation Excellent. Randi's 2 year old daughter by Skyfame scored VG just one month fresh. A Stormatic granddaughter of Elegance scored VG and 2 yr. Herd totals are now 28 EX, 24 VG, and 5 GP. There is one EX 95, 4 at 94, 4 at 93, and 9 at 92.

Re: Classification results
Yeah, I'd take a whole barn full of Durhams. Although, it is getting a little difficult finding bulls to use on them, especially with all of the Durham sons.
