Re: …
We are milking several Roy daughters. Type wise I love them, but production wise they are below herd average. I was looking for something with a little more milk.

Denby will have a poor type proof...Even if I own a Best heifer x Morty VG @ 2 yrs x Marshall x Patron (Patron Tess), I think Type should be something to look at.

Re: …
We are milking 3 Roys. All 3 would probably score Good Plus. Great udders. Good dairy strength. Average legs. 2 of them are still 2 year olds and the other is a 3 year old thats just fresh. All are below average for milk although I have heard they seem to milk better with age. My only other complaint about them is that all three have been hard breeding even thought none of them had hard calvings.

Re: …
Just wondering if anyone here has seen any milking Drakes yet. I really think Durham would mate nicely on her but there isn't much Durham semen around anymore and Drake seems to be one of his better sons although low reliability for type. I like Blitz also but his components make him almost unusable for me.

Take a decision!!!
1) You wanted to improve Rear Udder, so we thought you were type oriented.
2) Than you wanted to improve Milk.
3) Now you talk about components.
You can only focus on one thing at time!!!
