SHOW COW, BROOD COW,PRODUCTION COW.....

For being a truly perfect person you are granted a wish.
You can choose any cow you like.
Do you choose a show cow, a brood cow, a production cow or do you "take the money"? (I realise that there a plenty of cows that could qualify on several counts, but play the game and show where your real passion lies!!)
So is it,
Show cow.
Brood cow.
Production cow.
or Money.
??????????

Brood cow. Someting for today and tomorrow. One thing I would really like to add to my herd at the moment would be a good red Roxy if I could find the cow and the money at he same time.
If any of us were sane enough to take the money we wouldn't be writing here.
Production cow or show cow without having brood potential is too short term.

Re: SHOW COW, BROOD COW,PRODUCTION COW.....

I would say a cow like Elegance or Dellia, or even Aspen who has the type you respect, the ability to transmit, high production capacity and income potential.

BTW What is the proper pronunciation of "Dellia"? I was at a sale last week where every Dellia sons' daughter they made a point to pronounce her name as DEAL IA, then the Pedigree man said DEL LIA, and the second pedigree man said DELL IA. I thought I knew but it is not the first time I have heard this.

Re: SHOW COW, BROOD COW,PRODUCTION COW.....

Have to go with Roxy Dellia or Laurie sheik or a more modern choice would be Maude production 18,000kgs 305days brood 1Ex 5Vg Show Her show record is second to none and with more daughters to come she will only improve her brood cow status what other cow classified EX97 after 130,000 odd kgs if she had been marketed in the correct way she would have been as sought after as the afore metioned cows.

Let's take a well rounded cow, who can show, and who is a proven transmitter I would definately chose Elegance

I would like a blood cow, please.
Always fancied Sunnylodge Prelude Spottie.
S.Skychief Amy would do, I'm not that picky.
