Eurogenes On-Line Embryo sale- Starts Today!
Monday 24th November, marks the start of the latest offering of embryos available to purchase via www.eurogenes.com in their On-Line Embryo Auction, which concludes on Friday.
Embryos are on offer from all over the world, including consignments from UK Breeders Willsbro & Drointon Holsteins. Also included in the sale are a number of embryos produced, with sexed semen, therefore guaranteeing 100% Heifer calves.
Over 50 embryo combinations sell from great families like Lylehaven Lila Z VG89 2yr, Regancrest-PR Barbie EX92, Ralma Juror Faith EX91, Gillette Blitz 2nd Wind VG88, Windy-Knoll View Promise EX95 2E, Brigeen-C Integrit Robin EX95 2E, Idee Lustre EX95 3E, Gen-I-Beq Goldwyn Secret RC VG87 2yr, to name a few.

It really is simple to bid, there are 3 simple steps which will enable you to log in and participate, or just watch and follow the embryo prices throughout the auction.
1. Visit www.eurogenes.com and register your details on-line,
2. Eurogenes will then email you a bid number and confirm your password
3. You will then be asked to activate your bid number as instructed in the email from Eurogenes
Alternatively bids can be left with anyone of the Eurogenes contacts, and placed on your behalf.

Posal. . . .you get what you pay for. . . .the list of bull contracts demonstrates the potential return on investment. . .
And. . . that is the great thing about an auction. . . .if they are too expensive then no-one will bid. . .Auction is still the best way to determine the true value of something!

Didn't you mention that half of them are from Heifers...
I like pedigrees...but I am not going to pay those prices.
Another Question...no mentions about which kind of freezing method...

Posal. . . everyone is entitled to their oppinion. . .it's called freedom of speech. . .and for that I applaud you but with reference to your post. . .I have to point out that your maths needs a little perfecting.
There are 53 lots in the sale and 13 of those are from Maiden heifers. . . .now since when does that make 1/2 of them being from heifers?????
Whilst purchasing from maiden heifers is a personal choice it does however provide an opportunity to get into families at a lower cost. . .Buyers can decide if this is a risk they are willing to take. .!
But following on from what you said. . .about the embryos being expensive. . .this is an auction. . .people who buy will dictate the prices. . .bear in mind the current exchange rates, cost of semen eg Goldwyn and I struggle to see where you are coming from. . .Yes I agree some are more expensive than others, but as always these prices reflect the potential for return on investment . .and I strongly believe that. . .Tell me what price does Posal charge for embryos from his best and world class families?

I am not telling you What I charge, I tells you what I pay...
about 550€ from EX donors with several EX generations...price embryos delivered to our door.
Just sold a month ago in a Sale a Durham heifer from one of those ets for 9700€ so I guess that was the price the market made.
I am only saying that some of them are too expensive...
I like them, but they are out of my price range. BTW I am a penny-pincher.
