Well, burst my buttons
Haven't been on here in quite some time, almost forgot how to spell. I attended a Foundation meeting today and found out some intriguing news, maybe it's been brought to peoples attention on here already, but somehow I doubt it. Taurus Sires apparently own the top two genomic tested young sires in North America, Bolton x Shottle from Wabush Way. They will be available after April in Canada through Foundation Sires. Also, Windy- Knoll-View Promote ( Outside x Promise ) will be available sexed, +3.00 type, +2.66 udder, +2.52 feet/legs. 92% REL.
Furthermore, Foundation Sires was named by North American Breeding Corporation as the TOP fertility company in North America.
Semen sales are steadily increasing from year to year, and for those that thought we would just disappear after a few years are actually sitting up and taking notice. No, we don't have much of the market share, but we are the little engine that could. Well anyways this is probably enough roughage for some to consume at one sitting.
PS The April issue of the Holstein Journal is dedicated to Foundation Sires for their 10th anniversary. For anyone putting an advert. with a picture of a Foundation dau. in this issue will recieve 10 doses of any Foundation bull of your choice.( Hello, Patti? What are you doing tomorrow?)or Vicki, sorry Vicki, you're cuter by the way.

Re: …
Bump, for Synergy and Rusendale.
I have mentioned on here before that I've been bugging the powers that be, to aquire a Shottle son. " Presto " apperently there are a couple in quarentine.
We have several Shottles available that are owned by Stantons, from the Stress family, that have a high return rate of proven sires to service.
Also there are the several that Taurus are providing us with, including the aforementioned top two genomic test young
sires in North America, or did I not mention that yet, with TPIs of 2332 and 2329. Both with type of +4.10 and P.L. of +5.5 and +4.5.
So, if you are betting the farm that genomics is the way to get ahead of the pack, by flushing bull dams to genomic proven young sires and aren't aware that these are the top 2 in the breed today then you will have defeated your purpose and will become if you are not already, a LOSER.

Well, burst my buttons
WOW thanks for the tips MAYJAY!!!
I not sure what I find more surprising, that fact that someone at Foundation acknowledges that Shottle might be a good bull or that you where paying attention at a meeting.

You want to know what I find surprising? The fact that you are so pleasant in the flesh and such a pain in the *ss on cowtalk.

Re: Well, burst my buttons
Tarus can't have the top 2 GTPI bulls in the breed. I know Accelerated sells Jenny-Lou Trump who is the third highest available at 2333 GTPI. And Select has a bull called Al who is the number one GTPI bull available.
