so far he has 128 dtrs in his Canadian production proof and 71 dtrs in his type proof.

Re: Blitz
The people who chose to use him for ET must have thought he was pretty decent. He wasn't exactly the highest profile bull to ever be used in Canada was he -which makes his achievement outstanding!
It is, by far, the best proof any imported bull has ever got in Canada. There have been lots of others that have had more ET use than him, that have never got anywhere near +18. Not only that, he is also +2700 milk.
His componants are not great - we always knew that, but as a combination of milk, udders and type, nothing compares! Do yourself a favour and go and buy some Canuk before he sells out!

Isn't water cheaper for washing through?

Re: Blitz
I like the looks of him fine, and I can't argue with any of your comments Bullpen, but he doesn't interest me whatsoever. 17 E.T daus is not a lot but it is enough for me, at the moment and its pretty hard to use every bull that comes along.

Re: Blitz
Sorry,
Heard Blitz is no3, not no2 on type. Terrason is no2 at +19 but he is 3000kgs of milk lower than Blitz at -375kgs

Re: Blitz
Blitz came through with flying colours this time around. He is now +3.37 UK type and +1220kgs milk. This is the most extreme combination of type and milk the breed has ever seen. Of course his componants are very low so you probably wouldn't want to mate him on your Formation x Astres!

Re: Blitz
Low pro% and fat% out here is just fine. Most of the Co-ops stoped paying Pro% bonus. just keep cranking out that milk as long as we can average 3.5% fat and a 3.2% pro let it ride.
